This tutorial will help you learn how to aggregate data fields from several sources into one target, using Apatar.
Configuration
To aggregate data from two sources,
Drag-and-drop the source and target connectors to Apatar's work panel.
Then, drag-and-drop the Aggregate operation node.
Double-click on the connectors to configure them.
Provide the mapping as shown in the picture below.
Double-click on the Aggregation node. You will be switched to the Aggregation mode.
At the top, you will see two tabs, each named after one data input source. By default, the tab named after the first (upper) source is open and its data fields are displayed. Drag-and-drop the fields that you want to transfer onto the operation panel.
Drag-and-drop the correspondent target fields onto the Aggregation panel.
Provide the mapping.
Now, switch to the second tab to access the data fields of the second source.
Drag-and-drop the fields to be transfered from the second source onto the operation panel.
Drag-and-drop the correspondent target fields again.
Provide the mapping for these as well.
Click Ok to exit the Aggregation mode.
Now you can preview the Aggregation results or run the transformation (choose Run from Apatar's File menu).
Previewing results
To preview the output data, right-click on the target node and choose "Preview Results".
