  Connector for E-mail

This guide will help you learn how to configure E-mail connector for reading or sending e-mails with Apatar.

Read mail

To start reading e-mails,

  1. Drag-and-drop the E-mail connector to Apatar's work panel and double-click on the connector
  2. Enter your e-mail login, password, and incoming mail server (if necessary, change the incoming mail port, as well)



    Please note that your login should be entered without domain name that goes after the @ (at) symbol.

  3. Switch your mail server type to POP3
  4. Click Next
  5. Set the number of allowed file attachements, which will be downloaded with Apatar



  6. If you want to remove your messages from the e-mail server after downloading, switch the checkbox in this window on
  7. Click Finish
  8. Now drag-and-drop the Transform node and target connector
  9. Map all three nodes together



  10. Configure the target connector
  11. Open the Transform window and map the corresponding fields



  12. Close the Transform window

Now you can run the process or preview output results.

          

Send mail

To start sending e-mails,

  1. Drag-and-drop the connector for the source table, which contains the necessary e-mail bodies, subjects, addresses, and so on, to Apatar's work panel
  2. Drag-and-drop the Transform icon and the E-mail connector, as well
  3. Configure the source connector
  4. Double-click on the E-mail connector to configure it
  5. Enter your e-mail login, password, and outgoing mail server (if necessary, change the outgoing mail port)



    Please note that your login should be entered without domain name that goes after the @ (at) symbol.

  6. Click Next
  7. Set the number of allowed file attachements, which will be downloaded with Apatar



  8. Click Finish
  9. Map the nodes according to the picture below



  10. Open the Transform window map the corresponding fields



  11. Close the Transform window

Now you can run the process or preview output results.
