  Crop Right Function

This guide will help you learn how to crop text from the right side of a string using Apatar.

Configuration

Please follow these steps:

  1. Configure data sources and provide the mapping



  2. Drag-and-drop the input and output fields to the work panel of Transform, Join, or Validate node.
  3. Switch to the Function tab.
  4. Press the String button.



  5. Drag-and-drop the Crop Right function icon to the work panel.
  6. Map the nodes as shown in the picture below.



  7. Double-click on the Crop Right node.
  8. Specify the number of symbols from the left (Value) that are to remain in the string. All the following symbols will be cropped.



  9. Click Ok.
  10. Close the Tranformation window.
