This guide will help you learn how to append text to the end of a source string.

Configuration

To start appending the strings,

1. Provide the mapping and configure data sources
   
   
   
   In this guide, we will use the following table as a source:
   
   
   
   
2. Double-click on the Transform node
3. Switch to the Functions tab
4. Click on the String section to find the Append icon
5. Drag-and-drop it to the Transformation's work panel
   
   
   
   
6. Switch back to the Inputs tab and map the source and output fields according to the picture below
   
   
   
   
7. Double-click on the Append node
8. Specify a text that will be added to the end of the source strings
   
   
   
   
9. Click Ok
10. Close the Transformation work panel

Preview

Now you can preview the result.
