This guide will help you learn how to convert strings or integer numbers into decimal values.

In this example, we will use the source table with the following string values:

           

Configuration

To start using the To Decimal function,

1. Configure data sources and provide the mapping
   
   
   
   
2. Open the Transform node
3. Switch to the Functions tab
4. Click on the Number section to find the To Decimal icon
5. Drag-and-drop it to the Transformation's work panel
6. Map the input and output fields according to the picture below
   
   
   
   
7. Press Ok to close the window

Preview

Now you can preview the results. To do so, right-click on the Tranform or output node.

           

The preview window will pop up.
