This guide will help you learn how to retrieve the text of an email body, omitting the headers and other system information with Apatar.

Configuration

To remove system information from an e-mail body, leaving just the text of the e-mail,

  1. From the Connectors group of the Functions panel, drag-and-drop the E-mail icon to Apatar's work panel.
  2. Right-click on it and select Configure.
  3. Fill in the fields in the window that appears to configure access to the desired mailbox (consult your e-mail service provider for additional information).
Note that depending on whether your incoming or outcoming mail is to be processed, you should fill either the IncomingMailServer and IncomingMailPort, or the OutcomingMailServer and OutcomingMailPort fields.

  4. Click Ok.
  5. Configure the output source and provide the mapping.
  6. Open the desired operation's node.
  7. Drag-and-drop the Body icon to the work panel.

  8. Switch to the Functions tab.
  9. Click on the Strings section and find the Parse Email Body icon.
  10. Drag-and-drop it to the work panel.
  11. Insert the output field and provide the mapping.

  12. Click Ok to return to Apatar's work panel.
