This guide will help you learn how to filter out the records with NULL fields. (NULL is a marker used to indicate that an entry is uninitialized and the data value is unknown.)

To start using the Is Not Null function,

  1. Configure source connectors and map them with an operation node (Transform, Filter, or Validate)

  2. Double-click on the operation node to open the transformation or filtration window
  3. Drag-and-drop the field that contain unwanted NULL records to the operation's work panel

  4. If you are using the Transform module, switch to the Function tab, as well
  5. Drag-and-drop the Is Not Null function icon
  6. Map the nodes together

  7. Click Ok

Now the output table will contain only the records where the specified field is not NULL.
