Apatar team announced the ability to set custom date and time formats within Apatar Open Source Data Integration application. With this new feature, Apatar users can write and compare records of date and time formats that differ from their default system settings or other user formats. As a result, Apatar provides users with more compatibility and flexibility during integration of data that contans date and time records, especially within cross-cultural environments and applications. One does not need to know the exact format of date and time stored in the database or stick to the formats defined by other users. Instead, Apatar users can work with dates and time records using the formats that are common within their native countries or regions.

Apatar innitiative announced the CDYNE Demographics connector for the Apatar Open Source Data Integration toolset. The new connector delivers statistical data about customers and allows organizations to identify the ethnic and socio-economic makeup of their current customer base or purchased marketing lists. Apatar’s CDYNE Demographics connector can be used with any contacts database to determine the age, race, income, as well as type of residence, median income, median house value, or median number of vehicles, all without coding.

Apatar Announces Validation with Regular Expressions

Apatar team announced the ability to validate and filter data using specified regular expressions within Apatar Open Source Data Integration application. With the new Match RegExp function, Apatar users can filter out records that do not match the criteria specified by regular expressions. Users can set the rules or a template for string formats, such as e-mail addresses, phone numbers and codes, or IP addresses, to match. The new feature will be useful in determining the validity of any formatted data and ridding database of bad entries.

Apatar team announced the CDYNE Phone Verification connector for the Apatar Open Source Data Integration toolset. The new connector quickly and accurately determines the validity of any U.S. or Canadian phone number using CDYNE Web Services, all without coding. Now Apatar enables any business user to verify and filter customer phone numbers extracted from databases (such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL, Oracle), files (Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, CSV/TXT files), applications (Salesforce.com, SugarCRM), and the top Web 2.0 destinations (Flickr, Amazon S3, RSS feeds).
 
Apatar Announces Complex String Search with Regular Expression

Apatar team announced an ability to perform complex search within the Apatar Open Source Data Integration application using Regular Expressions. With the new RegExp function, Apatar users can specify patterns for complex string search and get substrings that match a custom Regular Expression limited by the pair of brackets. Users can also specify the rules for a set of possible strings (sentences, e-mail addresses, etc.) to match and create string substitutions. The new function can be used for validating e-mails, grouping and identifying pieces of the matching substring, and more.
