|
|
When I try to open Apatar, it shows me the Apatar Registration window.
I put my user information but a dialog window says me "www.apatarforge.org". If I activate the proxy settings (I'm behind a firewall) a dialog window says "charset=UTF-8"><STYLE id=L_default_1>A{FONT-WEIGHT: bold", when I click the "OK" button.
I cannot enter the application because the cancel button exit the program.
Any help?

Hello, crivas.
Please, try installing JRE 1.5.

Hello, Puneet!
You need to consult your system administrator and ask him about the proxy details.
Without this info it is impossible to work with the Web and acquire your unique registration code. As well, an automatically-generated account at the Apatar forums and DataMaps repository won't be created in this case.
If you are reluctant to talk to your administrator =) , you can try finding your proxy settings in the Internet Explorer options, or something. =) _________________

ssmithri, your problem is not reproducible on our test environment.
Could you please give us any additional info regarding this issue or picture to help to reproduce and resolve it?
You can paste information here or send me to irina.b@apatar.com.
Thank you in advance. _________________ Irina Boltuts

My mistake. No image.
I just can't get past our proxy server. After entering my proxy information and user password, a dialog box pops up reading:
charset=UTF-8"><STYLE=idL_default_1A{Font-Weight: bold
I've already installed JRE 1.6.0_06 from Sun, and enabled proxy settings in the Java Control Panel in Windows XP.
I'm with Fundtech corporation (FNDT) and we are very interested in this product. |

I have forwarded this issue to our developers. They have provided me with their feedback. It seems that you receive the HTML message from you proxy server.
Contact me directly for more details via sergei.l@apatar.com.
Regards,
Sergei |

Hi, cumhc54,
Try installing JRE provided in the Apatar package.
The application can not work properly with JRE 1.6.
This may help. _________________

|

I uninstalled all JRE versions, including JRE 1.6 and let the Apatar install program install JRE. Still same html code pop up.
If I don't populate my proxy information on the registration form, and allow the registration process to use my proxy settings in IE, then I can't get past the proxy server.
The bug APT-507 seems like it will fix that problem. What do you think? |
