validation based on contains and doesnotcontains

Hi,

i am unable to do a validation in this way as:

i had a text field in a table and want to do some validation on it and send data to target column

if the value of the field contains some given text place in the target column otherwise replace the text with given text and send to target.

hope somebody can help me
