Hello, neguchegu!

I don't think it is possible to create general connector for all existing APIs.
Instead, one can develop a connector for a certain protocol (SOAP or something).
Apatar development team was thinking about the possibility to start working on that in the future.

If you want to do this yourself, you can start with reading the following developer guide:

http://apatarforge.org/wiki/display/ADM/How+to+Create+Your+Own+Connector+or+Operation

Hope this helped.)

I'd think SOAP and WSDL would be really needed now-a-days. I know I am chomping at the bits to see it in here. I am not a JAVA developer or I would offer to help.

unless you make it REST. REST is a lightweight WebService architecture style. It is great for Resource Oriented Architecture. It is where SOAP was suppose to go in the beginning but miss the curve and ...

Hi Apatar Team,

First of all Wish you a very happy and prosperous new year Very Happy

I am evaluating Apatar on behalf of one of my client.Client had already built many webservices.[based on .NET platform] for which he needs some transformation services and would like to create a mashup.

Could it be possible to have WSDL connector available for us or entire Apatar community?

I had gone through http://www.apatarforge.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=156
and http://www.apatarforge.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=299

but these conversations are really old one and want to know is there any further development done?

I am glad if somebody could provide me connector for WSDL that works well with .NET webserivces.

Please contact me on : lalitkale@gmail.com

And Hey,Team Apatar Rocks!

Sincerely,
Lalit.

We did not start developing it. The thing is that every web service has its own/different methods to work with and this connector may work with one web service API properly and with the other it wouldn't work at all. Thus, it’s much easier to create a new connector for a particular web service.

However, if you interested in this connector and ready to finance the development of it you may let me know directly and we will provide you with the estimate.

Regards,
Sergei
