Can I develop a connector for my data source (target)?

i have read a FAQ and it said that "The open source code of Apatar allows easy building of add-on connectors for any data integration applications, be it legacy, APIs or semi-structured data sources (targets).
so how can i do this ? could you show me the detail about building a connector? please
thanks

I'm using the Replace With as you described in the Union, so from SQL through Replace With and then To the SFDC Description...
Hi hoctdy,

You can find helpful guides here that help you learn how to create your own connector and create Apatar project in Eclipse.

Regards,
RE: Error importing emails into SFDC

ChadSmith wrote:

Getting this:

ava.io.IOException: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: The char '0x2' after 'Date: Thu, 19 Feb 2009 08:37:51 -0500

I tried using a replace to replace \2 with a space, but no go.

You need to use Replace With function (all options enabled) where Input value is:

Code:

(?s)(?m)(.*)\x02

And replace with value is:

Code:

$1

Let me know if it helped.

Regards,

This bug was fixed. Do you have any problems with datetime format at the moment? If yes, could you please provide us with the error log from Apatar - Debug -Show Error?

RE: CREATE table based on source table definitions

I have a table from SFDC and want to dump its content 1:1 into a relational DB table without having to manually create the target table in the DB first?
i.e. can Apatar do something like
CREATE table AS SELECT * FROM <someothertable>?

Thanks...

Hi disembowler,

At the moment Apatar cannot create/replicate tables in the target node. However this feature could be implemented. If interested, we can discuss details. You can email me your detailed use case and I provide you with our feedback.

RE: Calculations on Date and Time inputs

Hi Ross,

We've faced the same issue during one of our recent migrations. We have created a function to adjust the time zone but it will only be released in the next version of Apatar (current version is 1.12.3, whatever comes after it will have this AddTimeZone function)

However, I will email it to you as well as the instructions on how to add it to Apatar.

Anyone interested in getting this function before the new version of Apatar is released, please reply to this message or email me at ludmila.r@apatar.com

Regards,
