Apatar Allows Custom Date and Time Formats Integration

May 16, 2008, Chicopee, MA Â Apatar team announced the ability to set custom date and time formats within Apatar Open Source Data Integration application. With this new feature, Apatar users can write and compare records of date and time formats that differ from their default system settings or other user formats. As a result, Apatar provides users with more compatibility and flexibility during integration of data that contans date and time records, especially within cross-cultural environments and applications. One does not need to know the exact format of date and time stored in the database or stick to the formats defined by other users. Instead, Apatar users can work with dates and time records using the formats that are common within their native countries or regions.

Apatar is the first company to release open source tools for non-technical staff and customers to access the application data they need to do their jobs more effectively. Apatar provides support, training, and consulting services for its integration solutions.

Major Apatar Offerings

Apatar Enterprise Data Mashups (www.apatar.com)
Apatar Enterprise Data Mashups is the first open source on-demand data integration software toolset and services, which help users integrate information between databases, files, and applications. Users install a visual job designer application to create integration jobs called DataMaps, link data between the source(s) and the target(s), and schedule one-time or recurring data transformations. Imagine this capability fits cleanly and quickly into your projects. You've just imagined what Apatar can do for you.

ApatarForge (www.apatarforge.org)
